Welcome to Satori Counseling!
Beginning your mental health journey can bring a mix of emotions—excitement, uncertainty, even a bit of fear. Whatever you're feeling, I’m truly glad you’ve taken this step and are here.
SATORI 悟り
Satori is a Japanese word that captures a deep moment of insight— an awakening that brings clarity to the mind and peace to the heart. It’s a concept that mirrors the therapy process, where understanding and transformation unfold over time. At Satori Counseling, my mission is to support you on your path toward healing, growth, and inner peace. These ‘Satori moments’ don’t come overnight— they come through intentional work, self-reflection, and care. My hope is that this space becomes a safe and supportive place for you to process, grow, and heal at your own pace, with someone by your side.
I’m Alisha, and I’m happy you’ve found your way here.
Let me introduce myself.
I’m passionate about helping others through counseling and believe everyone deserves access to mental health support. My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to meet your unique needs because, well, humans aren’t robots.
Creating a space where you can feel comfortable, open, and honest is what I’m all about, iykwim.

My logo features Erythrina variegata, commonly known as the Tiger Claw. It’s a symbol I deeply connect with because of its versatility. What’s incredible about this flower is its ability to grow almost anywhere, including both cold and tropical regions. It’s tough and adaptable, not to mention it serves different purposes depending on where it’s found. In some places it’s just ornamental while in other regions it’s an important resource like food. Basically, it’s the unicorn of plants.
